Great photo, thank you Astrid. I really enjoy seeing these occupational photos from family collections as they give a real insight into people's everyday lives. They are the exception, sadly, as most of the photographs from bygone days that survive are those taken on special occasions.
By the way, I think he's mowing the hay, rather than ploughing, but of course that's a minor detail ;-)
